What is in it

Flax Seed Oil. Conditions the strand and provides heat protection.
Broccoli Seed Oil. The plant-grown silicone alternative. Smooths and fights frizz without coating.
Vitamin E. Antioxidant. Reduces oxidative stress on the strand.
Sweet Almond Oil. Weightless protection against pollution, UV, and heat styling.
Essential Oil Blend. Cedarwood, amber, and honey absolute for fragrance.

The ritual

Most people use a glossing serum after washing. The smarter use is before. Applied to dry hair a couple of hours before shampoo, the oils coat the strands and stop sulfates from stripping the cuticle. Then use it again on damp hair after washing for shine. Two uses, one bottle.

Pre-shampoo: 3 to 4 drops on dry hair, a couple of hours before washing. The oils coat the strands so shampoo cannot strip them.
Post-wash styling: 2 to 4 drops through damp mid-lengths and ends before air-drying or heat styling.
Frizz touch-up: 1 to 2 drops pressed through dry ends to tame frizz and add finish.

Do not apply to roots. This is a length-and-ends formula.

The why behind it

Most glossing serums work by coating the hair shaft with silicone. Your hair looks shiny. Nothing has actually changed. Over time, silicone builds up, weighs hair down, and suffocates the strands it is supposed to protect.
