Ceremony App Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Ceremony mobile app, provided by Harmonie-Hernandez LLC (“we” or “us”). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use it.
They do not cover buying anything from the online shop at harmonie-hernandez.com. Orders, shipping and returns are governed by the store’s own terms of service, refund policy and shipping policy. Nothing here changes those, and nothing there changes these.
Read this part first
Ceremony is not medical advice and is not a medical device. It is exercise instruction and general wellbeing information. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything.
- Talk to a doctor before starting this or any exercise programme, and especially if you are pregnant or recently postpartum, recovering from injury or surgery, have a heart condition, high blood pressure, a back or joint problem, or any condition that exercise could affect.
- Stop if something hurts rather than aches. Ache is the session working. Pain is information.
- You are responsible for judging what is safe for your own body on the day. Nothing in the app knows how you slept, what hurts, or what happened last week.
- Do the movements somewhere clear, on a stable surface, with room around you.
Energy, calorie, protein and step figures in the app are estimates produced by standard formulas from what you tell us. They are there to make differences legible, not to be tracked as targets, and they are not clinical measurements. Do not use them to manage a medical condition.
If you have or suspect an eating disorder, please speak to a professional before using the eating plans or the energy figures.
What you get
Ceremony gives you movement practices, sessions built from a library of individual moves, eating plans, daily habits and a timer. Some of it is free forever: the Towel Method practice, the fourteen day Towel Challenge, one daily habit, and every movement clip to browse. The rest needs a subscription.
We may add, change or remove content. The app is a living thing and the library will grow and be edited.
Subscriptions
- Ceremony offers a monthly and an annual subscription. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- New subscriptions start with a 7 day free trial. Cancel before it ends and you are not charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- Payment is taken by Apple or Google, not by us, and is charged to your App Store or Google Play account.
- To cancel, use your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by us.
- We may change prices. A change never affects a period you have already paid for, and you will be told before it applies to you.
Your account and your data
Ceremony has no account and no server. The app asks for your email address before it opens, and that address joins our mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time and keep using the app. Everything else you enter stays on your phone. The privacy policy explains this in full.
Because there is no server, your data is not backed up by us. Deleting the app deletes what is on your device, including progress photos, permanently, and we cannot recover it.
What you may and may not do
The practices, the moves, the written instructions, the eating plans, the video and the design belong to Harmonie-Hernandez LLC. Your subscription is a personal licence to use them, not a transfer of ownership.
Please do not:
- Record, copy, download or redistribute the videos or written content.
- Teach the content commercially, or present it as your own method.
- Share an account or subscription so others can avoid paying.
- Reverse engineer the app, or try to reach paid content without paying for it.
Photographs you take in the app are yours. We claim nothing over them and never see them. If you choose to send Harmonie a photo, you are giving her permission to look at it, and nothing more; anything beyond that would be asked for separately and explicitly.
Availability
We try to keep Ceremony working, but it is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or compatible with every device, and features that depend on other systems, such as Health Connect or the app stores, depend on those systems working.
Ending it
You can stop using Ceremony at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the app. We may suspend access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, for instance by redistributing the content commercially.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Harmonie-Hernandez LLC and its members, including Harmonie Hernandez, are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your use of Ceremony, including exercising in a way that was not right for your body on the day. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some places do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawai‘i, United States, and any dispute will be handled by the courts there. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep any rights your local law gives you that cannot be signed away.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and where a change matters we will say so in the app or by email. Continuing to use Ceremony after that means you accept the new terms.
